Next Dinner:
Nov 20, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
A Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner is usually held on the third Sunday of Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, and Nov.
How does "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" work? First you sign up to attend or call let the coordinators to let them know you want to be included. A clipboard is passed around the chapel a couple weeks prior to each dinner.
The coordinators are: Dick and Merrolyn Burleigh at 360.426.2899 or email: rburleigh@earthlink.net Call them to sign up!
You will be called by your Hostess or Host and invited to dinner. You will get directions and a reminder of the day and time. Please let your Hostess know if you have any allergies that should be considered. What you WON’T be told is who else is coming for dinner! It is fun trying to guess. The Hostess or Host usually prepares the main dish and will ask you to bring a side dish such as: potato/rice/pasta; vegetable; salad; dessert; or appetizer, bread or rolls.
Hostess or Hosts: The hostess or host organizes the dinner, usually prepares the main dish, and suggests what dish guests should bring. Your home or your table setting doesn't need to be fancy or formal. Dinner can be around the dining table, a folding table, it can be a buffet, or a BBQ when the weather is nice. Remember this is a time for Chapel Members to get to know each other better and to share in the Blessings the Lord provides.
Children: This is usually an 'adult' dinner, but sometimes a hostess has small children and welcomes other children for dinner. When this applies, it will be noted on the sign up form.
This is a great way to get to know your Chapel Family members. All are welcomed and all have a great time!
